England for Obama

This is quite something:

Know what struck me most as I watched that video? That it’s really close. It’s about to happen. Any day now (January 20th - Ed) Barack Obama is becoming President. Wow.

*Update* Rachel Maddow talks about the meeting (and includes footage of a new interview with Obama, which leaps rather strangely from talk of the economic stimulus package to body-surfing in Hawaii, but still):

Reports are out about that meeting at The White House yesterday. And it turns out that Barack Obama and George Bush didn’t just discuss drapes measurements. Oh, no. Although Laura Bush and Michelle Obama possibly did.

In a nutshell: Obama asked Bush for help with his economic stimulus package. In return, Bush asked Obama to support his plans for free trade with Colombia.
