I take it all back
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009DC was packed today, and tonight. It truly feels like a party town now. The subway was especially fascinating this evening, with hoards of people trying to get on at the central stops, and passengers ranging in age from 9 to 90, dressed in everything from tuxedos and gowns to Puffa jackets and Obama scarves. Heading to balls or parties, or just to the Mall and the Capitol building to soak up the atmosphere on inauguration eve.
One of the reasons I went on the subway this evening (look, I’ve stopped calling it the tube!) was to pick up this:
