Michelle Obama appears on The Daily Show
Disappointingly, they talked solely about her husband and his campaign, and not about her. Ah well:

Brilliant. I’m looking forward to this on More4 in about an hour. Unless they haven’t get the rights to it yet, and their showing the RNC episodes from 5 weeks ago again. Which does have JS repeatedly slaaging off Karl Rove, and Fred Thompson. So I suppose I can wait.
The Larry King interview was a little subdued. I think he was hoping she was going to open up, and really stick it to Palin in particular. I’m afraid there’s too much to lose at this stage. But just like her husband she was gracious, and charming, and what america has been missing from it’s leaders for some time intelligent.

ahh I may give up on looking up the LK interview, then. agree with you thoroughly on all the merits you list… that’s one reason why I want to find out more about *her* – she’s clearly a very smart and talented person in her own right.

I know I’d love to know more about her. All I really know is from her DNC speech, and today on LK when she mentioned her similar background to Barack and coming from what I liked best using the word working class background, instead of Joe Biden (God Love Him) middle class. And hoew she was helped out with grants to go to Princeton. But it was pretty staid otherwise. But your not going to get off the cuff remarks at this stage.

true, true. I’d expect her to be nothing less than gracious and moderate. it would just be nice to hear her talk more about herself, not just in the context of being Barack’s wife or the mother of two children!

Michelle is set to become the most glamorous and endearing first lady of our generation.
My wife loves her! More than Obama. After her DNC speech she told me that if Michelle were to run for president, she would be a shoe in.
Not sure if I agree with her on that, but she has a certain something that can only improve the political landscape.

yep, I think the combination of her and Barack Obama, and Joe and Jill Biden, in The White House will be a pretty amazing role model for Americans.
