He's just been looking at the poll numbers and his campaign might have finally realized his constant attacking of Obama, is getting him nowhere with independents and undecided voters. Sadly the rhetoric of the past week have pushed the republican base to the point of foaming at the mouth. And as for letting his VP of the leash, there seems to little chance of reigning her in.
